Learner Guidelines

    • Registration dates vary by course and are listed under class information.
    • If a class is already filled, the box will be black and you will not be able to select the course but can select to be on the waiting list.
    • Class transfers are available a minimum of five business days prior to the start of the class. Requests can be sent to [email protected] or (505) 224-5200.
  • Login/Create Account: If you are new to our site, you will need to create a new student profile. Creating a profile will provide you with a personal, password-protected account. Having an account will allow you to register online and track your course selections. Click on LOGIN/Create Account to begin and please choose a login that you will easily remember. Once your account has been activated, you will receive a copy of your profile via email and will be able to make edits to your profile and access your registration and transactions.

Your registration will not be completed until full payment is made. Full payment is due five (5) days before classes begin unless otherwise noted. Payment may be made by debit card, credit card, check, or purchase order. Purchase orders can be emailed to [email protected].

There are multiple third party Funding Resources available to learners which requires research and application on the individual level. CNMI does not submit third party funding applications for learners. Learners applying for third party funding are encouraged to complete the application and follow through with funders before course registration.

Learners receiving third party funding may be responsible for a portion of their fees and are responsible for complying with policies set by the third-party funder.

Some courses require a non-refundable deposit to hold your space in the course. All registration fees must be paid a minimum of five business days before the course’s start date.

Non-refundable deposits are not eligible for a refund, even if third party funding is later secured.

Tuition is refundable with a written request two business days prior to the course start date for any course three days or less.

If you choose to leave the program or have been removed for violating course expectations, you will not be eligible for any refund and may not be eligible for future third party funding if your course received third party funding.

Refunds are processed with the payment method based on the form of payment received (check or credit card). If multiple payments were made, or tuition was transferred then refunds will be refunded by check. Refunds may take up to two weeks to process.

Refund exceptions:

  • Full-Time bootcamps will be refundable (less the deposit) within the two weeks.
  • CDL Training: The deadline for a refund for the balance (minus the non-refundable deposit) is two weeks (14 days) prior to the Behind the Wheel class start date.
  • Early Childhood Mentorship Course (grant-funded; registration is for ECMN members only) is not refundable.
  • If the course has been canceled, a refund will be processed automatically.
  • Any other exceptions may be considered if received in writing and reviewed by CNM Ingenuity program leadership within the refund period.

As a non-credit certificate program, final grades will be recorded on transcripts as Complete or Incomplete. To receive a Complete grade, students must have a minimum 90% attendance rating and a 75% grade. Grades are determined for each program as documented for each course, and are assessed on projects, assignments, assessments, and/or participation.
