Clifton Taulbert, renowned author, business consultant and speaker, will be a guest of CNM Oct. 3-5. He will be speaking at four different venues during his time in Albuquerque.
Talbert is author of the book, “Who Owns the Ice House? Eight Lessons from an Unlikely Entrepreneur.” Curriculum for CNM Entrepreneurship courses and the CNM STEMulus Center Entrepreneurial Mindset Program is based on his book.
On Oct. 3, he will meet informally with students from CNM, the University of New Mexico and Albuquerque Public Schools for a “Front Porch Conversation” at 2 p.m. in the Smith Brasher Hall auditorium on CNM’s Main Campus.
On Oct. 4, he will talk to a group of Albuquerque business leaders during a breakfast at the Albuquerque Country Club from 7:30-9:30 a.m. To attend the breakfast, attendees must RSVP and purchase tickets for $24 by registering through Addmi.
Later that day he will give a keynote address, “Accelerate Your Imagination,” at 4:30 p.m. at the Smith Brasher Hall auditorium. The CNM community, APS and UNM students and employees, and City of Albuquerque employees are invited to attend.
On Oct. 5 at 10 a.m., he will tour the CNM FUSE Makerspace at the Innovate ABQ campus accompanied by students in CNM’s Entrepreneurial Mindset Program. He will conclude with a lecture, “The Process to Accelerate Your Imagination” in the Lobo Rainforest Building at Innovate ABQ.
