This course provides you with a fundamental understanding of marketing concepts so you can feel comfortable in any marketing setting.
Marketing Analytics and Performance
In this course, you will analyze the results of marketing efforts. As companies collect more and more data, it is critical for digital marketers to have a strong foundational understanding of how to analyze data and extract insights from marketing campaigns and other initiatives. By analyzing data, a digital marketer holds the keys to critical information on what is and isn’t working from a marketing perspective. Specifically, in this course, you will calculate key marketing metrics to determine strategic marketing optimization decisions, A/B test various elements of marketing efforts to increase conversion rates, and identify factors that can optimize overall marketing performance.
Social Media Marketing
There are currently 3.2 billion people using social media around the world, and the number is growing. As consumers increasingly spend time on social media platforms, it has become more useful than ever to know how to navigate and communicate through social media. In this Social Media Marketing course, you will learn how to create a social media strategy that achieves your goals. You will learn about different platforms and the array of interactions open to you, and you will get hands-on experience creating a Facebook ad campaign.
Marketing Content Strategy and Branding
In this course you will explore branding and content marketing, from how to create a content strategy to how to produce marketing collateral that aligns with a company’s goals and customers. Content marketing is a critical form of marketing, which includes creating and distributing relevant and valuable content that will attract a company’s intended audience. Many of the marketing materials you digest on a daily basis are examples of content marketing, from website content to social media posts to webinars.
Search and Display Advertising
In this course, you will explore two major areas of paid advertising: search and display. If you have ever spent time browsing a product on a website, only to find an ad for that product at the next site you visit, then you have experienced search and display advertising as a consumer. In this course, you will learn about these two channels from the perspective of a marketer. You will learn about what makes an effective search ad and display ad, how to place ad bid, set a budget, and provide recommendations to optimize your campaign. Learning to run effective search and display ads is an important skill for digital marketers. You will be an invaluable asset to a company if you learn how to use these channels effectively.
In this course, you will take a deep dive into the world of email marketing, an incredibly effective marketing channel that can deliver great results for companies. You will learn about the role that email marketing can play in a company’s marketing strategy, the stages of the customer journey that email marketing is best suited for, and best practices for email design. The course will also touch upon more complex email practices such as automation, and how to outline an email campaign. Developing email marketing skills will make you an asset to any company that uses this effective marketing channel.
