Nurse Refresher & Clinical

It is designed to meet the educational needs of nurses who have been out of the clinical setting and desire to re-enter the clinical workplace; and/or as part of the New Mexico Board of Nursing (BON) requirement for licensure reactivation.
The 72-80 hour precepted Nurse Refresher Clinical is a requirement of the Nurse Refresher Program. The clinical practicum should be performed within four weeks of completion of the Nurse Refresher Theory (online) but no later than 6 months of the temporary license issuance.
Community Dental Health Coordinator
This course series is for Registered Dental Hygienists (RDHs) who wish to co-function in the role of Community Dental Health Coordinator (CDHC). CDHC’s work with underserved communities, and have an emphasized skill set related to oral health. Working under the direction of a dentist, and in partnership with a community clinic, CDHCs provide oral health education, prevention intervention, and low-level dental care.
