About the Leadership Academy Series

Become a champion leader who aligns organizational objectives with individual development goals to where both roads lead to breakthrough performance!

Leaders who demonstrate certain principles create an environment where employees are motivated, not forced, to bring their best to work. Certain principles strengthen teamwork and trust, leading to a more cohesive, creative and constructive workforce. Gain the skills to motivate teams, and discover the drivers of Leadership success, while exploring processes that enable you to define and align performance goals. Learn to recognize the potential in others and effective coaching techniques to help them realize their goals. Explore processes for driving innovation and delegating to match talent to task. By maximizing your own performance, becoming a stronger leader, you will add more value to the organization.

We strive to continue to offer relevant and targeted professional development. We listen to the feedback we receive! In this spirit, we have updated the Leadership Academy by shortening it to six sessions with a start time of 8:30 a.m. We have updated the price to reflect this change. 

Only $629 for the series or take an individual course for $109. All classes are online via Zoom Friday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Leadership Academy will provide the insight, tools, and strategies needed to adapt to the future of work. Participants will learn the essential principles, awareness, and practical application of leadership skills. Different mindsets and approaches are needed from leaders to help organizations adapt and flourish to this new work landscape.

This series of relevant and emerging topics will help you discover the driving forces and reasons behind people’s actions and behavior, and learn how to influence their choices and help them overcome any obstacle. Great leaders are not born- they are made through education, experience, and a deep understanding of self and commitment to others.

You may qualify to take the Leadership Academy series at no charge if your employer meets these criteria: 

  • Incorporated as a for-profit or not-for-profit entity in NM 
  • Headquartered within the Albuquerque city limits 
  • A business with less than 500 employees 
  • Business has been located in Albuquerque for 1 year OR Business owner has been an Albuquerque resident for at least 1 year at any time prior to the time of training 

This great opportunity is made possible through the collaboration between CNM Ingenuity and the City of Albuquerque. Job Training Albuquerque (JTA) is a workforce development program that provides opportunities for the local workforce to gain necessary skills in order to fill skill gaps and meet the workforce needs of existing and potential employers.
