Skillbridge Program

CNM Ingenuity and the Department of Defense

The Department of Defense (DoD) Skillbridge program provides service members with the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. CNM Ingenuity has been a proud partner of Department of Defense (DoD) Skillbridge since June 2020. As of January 2023, over 30 Skillbridge participants have enrolled in our immersive training programs.

The Skillbridge Program at CNMI

CNM Ingenuity, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, offers many immersive training programs to prepare service members for new jobs or to upskill in multiple industries.

Skillbridge Program Details:

Skillbridge at CNM Ingenuity serves all members of the military with approval from your commander.
Skillbridge programs are face-to-face, though some programs may be completed online.
Most Skillbridge programs can be completed in about 61-90 days, but some programs are longer and can be approved by your commander.
We currently do not offer internships, though this may change in the future.
While the Skillbridge programs are not free, you may be eligible for some of our funding resources, particularly if you live in New Mexico.
